Whittlewood Parishes - Lent Course

each Thursday evening throughout Lent we will be studying The Letter to the Hebrews. Whittlewood Parishes Worship - 28th February 2021 - The Second Sunday of Lent

We are now facing a renewed challenge for our nation, one that means we are all safest when keeping our distance, not only for ourselves, but for one another.

Once again, the Sunday services will only be available by using Zoom.

This decision has been made by the joint PCC's due to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic - particularly the more virulent strain that is  being transmitted so quickly.  The decision was not made lightly but made in the best interests of all who participate in the services. Any changes to this  will be published here.

Yo can follow the service using the Zoom app with the meeting ID and Passcode: Meeting ID: 842 0777 5477 Passcode: 407786 or by clicking the link below.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) guidance within the Whittlewood Parishes

Although the Government has stated that Churches may reopen to the public from 4th July there are still strict limits to the number of people that can attend - This is very much dependant on the capacity of each Church building and not just a blanket 30 people. With the 2 meter social distancing measures many of the buildings within our Benefice will be able to hold less than 20 people. Along with this there are regulations to follow around the cleaning of the buildings, the flow of people going in and out of each Church and what can and can’t be touched once in Church. As from 12th July within the Whittlewood Benefice we are intending to start services within the actual Churches for a very limited number of people, the places have to be booked in advance to ensure compliance with the above. As numbers will remain limited for the foreseeable future the services will continue to be live streamed via Zoom and recorded for the Benefice Facebook and YouTube pages. Due to the use of the Internet we can only stream from Churches that have internet access so not all of them can be used. Initially the services will follow the format we have been using on Zoom over the last few months and will be restricted to approximately 40 minutes.
